Meet the GTA 5 skydiver trying to replicate their about decease-defying stunt in the GTA Trilogy

GTA 5 stunt master Ash tree Sky Queen has down herself out of high aircraft countless times. She's torn through the skies of Los Santos equivalent a bolt of lightning, and has thread herself through the tightest nook and cranny dotted around San Andreas like some kind of air sempstress. Ash is, to my mind, the uncomparable stunt performing artist in modern day 1000 Theft Auto. And if you need imperviable – just moderate out her M Pylon Challenge.

Ash tree makes it all look on so slow, but her unsuccessful attempts at that particular feat run into the thousands. Away her own admission, she's a perfectionist when it comes to GTA 5 and GTA Online's stunt carrying out subculture – "on single Chiliad undertake, I'd bounced along a duo of pylons. I was like, serve I put it out like that? No, it's got to be clean, I've got to do it once again" – which makes nailing the most tiresome and challenging tricks with flawless precision all the more satisfying. Now, Ash tree is turning her care to the GTA Trilogy.

Up, up and away

Mount Chiliad, naturally, firstly featured in GTA: San Andreas, which delineate a very much littler encounter the impostor-California body politic than the single that features in GTA 5. Stillness, M, atomic number 3 it appears in the original 2004 sandbox, now reworked in the GTA Trilogy, is a towering icon of the map – one which, if throwing yourself out of virtual aeroplanes is your thing, is ripe for death-defying stunt work.

"I've not long started the Trilogy, and I'm playing San Andreas," says Ash. "I'm hoping to get my parachute, experience up Mount One thousand, and get bet on off information technology once again! IT's so weird being back in the old map because there are parts which I've become so used to in GTA 5 that look so familiar. I was driving down a street at one point in the Trilogy thinking: 'Ah, this is where the Liquor Hole should be'. But IT's not really in the daring San Andreas, it's only in GTA 5 and GTA Online's take on the San Andreas place setting."

Uncomparable of my own favourite things about the GTA Trilogy so outlying is exactly that mendacious sense of familiarity. In that location are pockets of the reworked San Andreas that feel so recognisable against modern day GTA Online, but are naturally distinctly distinct, to the point where I've gotten completely lost inside a sandpile I once knew so healthy. The absence of the Liquor Hole which Ash tree alludes to is a standout example of this – the site of some other of her illustrious and jaw-dropping stunt maneuvers that you should also absolutely check into for yourself.

Similar to her Chiliad feat, Ash makes the end result look straight. And yet, she tells Maine she stuck matchless million GTA dollars in her character's pocket before starting unstylish on this single. In-game, you drop $500 every time you die. And by the time the Booze Hole stunt was with success completed, her reference had lost somewhere in the vicinity of $800,000. And she didn't even die during each botched run around.

New heights

"But scarce for nostalgia purposes, I want to go up Mount Chiliad and leap, because for ME that was the give birth of the 1000 stunt obsession for me in GTA 5. Wish me lot!"

Ash Sky Queen

All of this speaks to the determination and persistence required to smash the most challenging stunts in GTA, disregarding which game you'ray acting. One affair I love nigh this community is the way they view each unfit's sandbox otherwise from uniform players – where every railing, storm, stairwell and hillside is seen arsenic an opportunity and, higher up all else, a challenge to exist overcome. The Grand larceny Auto stunt scene dates all the way back to GTA 3's first issue in 2001, but it took off proper in GTA 5 – underpinned away the move up of social media, and the nascent YouTube celebrity-ism that's boomed over the last decade about.

Now faced with a shiny, polished version of GTA's endorse catalogue, new challenges face stunters like Ash. And spell she's bound roughly of her near sophisticated toss-bound tricks aren't possible in gray school San Andreas, she's got her ever-inventive eye locked unwaveringly on Chiliad and other spots around cheerful SA.

"Even with the new environments, San Andreas isn't presently subject of doing what I do in GTA 5. But there is one specific spot that I'm active to consider," says Ash tree. "There's a mission in San Andreas early on where you land up crashing your car through with a billboard, and you leave a walloping gaping hole in information technology. And then I privation to get a hold of the jet later in the game, and see if it's merely possible to act up something with that. I don't think IT's going to work out that swell, but you never make love. I want to give way it a try and see how it goes."

"But just for nostalgia purposes, I desire to come up Mount Chiliad and jump, because for Pine Tree State that was the birth of the Chiliad stunt obsession for me in GTA 5. Wish me luck!"

If you wish Ash's stunts, this is why they outcry her Flip Fairy . In her top 50 video, she shows us what 6000 hours of stunting looks like in GTA 5 .
